NHS’s College & Career Center, centrally located in our Library Center, offers resources and workshops to help all students explore college and career opportunities.
Families are encouraged to view our weekly-updated Newsletter online for information regarding events, deadlines, programs, scholarships, and class-specific information.
Students have access through the Center to a always growing library of college exploration materials, scholarship & financial aid information, volunteer and part-time job opportunities, and college entrance test information and preparation tools. Online, all students can use Naviance to explore in more detail these areas, plus career pathways through general searches and self-assessment tools and surveys. We encourage all parents to log into Naviance with their students to explore these many tools, postings and connections to colleges.
The College & Career Center also coordinates the schedule of visits made by college admissions officers and handles military information. Students can view our calendar of upcoming visits on this site and sign up for the visits through Naviance, under What’s New on the home page.
